Hi, remember me????
Yes, that's me!

I used to live here on this blog. Then I got stupidly overworked and now I am RESISTING EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE!!
I highly recommend this strategy of resistance because it creates all kinds of guilty feelings and even MORE resistance. Yay!! What could be better than that? Especially at the New Year!!
Seriously, though, gang, I am trying. But this is sort of my life these days: I walk into the bathroom and think, OMG! The tub seriously needs scrubbing. I walk into Fluffy's room and think, OMG! I need to sweep and dust in here. I walk into the kitchen and think, OMG! The floor needs washing. I walk into the living room and think, OMG! That tree needs to be taken down and stored away. I walk into the family room and think, OMG! When was the last time I vacuumed in here? In the laundry room: OMG! There's pieces of dry cat food all over this floor -- when am I going to vacuum?!
And in my own room? OM-Freakin'-G! A total disaster!! And why, you might ask? Because my office is in my bedroom!! And I have little stacks everywhere that signify a project in progress. Literally, on every available surface, there is a little stack. And sometimes a not-so-little stack. And after a grand perusal of my entire I home, I shut down all my major senses and thought-centers and say: I think I'll just do yoga now and watch an old re-run of Poirot.
And yes, when I look in the mirror, I think: OMG! Am I getting into some seriously good shape!! It's all that resisting of everything else imaginable that's doing it! So I guess that's why I recommend it!
But (heavy sigh) starting today, I am trying to deal with things. And by that, I mean that I can at least IMAGINE taking that tree down... It's a start, anyway.
