Happy Solstice, gang!!
Even if you don't celebrate any of the multitude of religious holidays that fall around this time of year, I hope you at least consider celebrating the solstice in some meaningful way -- public or private. I don't know about you, but when I woke this morning, my energy had definitely shifted into something really uplifting, happy, rejoicing. I like that solstice energy!!
I am hard at work on several projects here that are keeping me from posting to the blog as often as I'd like to, gang. But rest assured that I do indeed stress out when I can't post here, so -- you're in my thoughts!! ha ha
I am going to have a low key Christmas this year and I am actually looking forward to that. I feel like I've been going nonstop since before I left for Europe, back at the beginning of October. (And speaking of traveling like a lunatic -- my housemate just told me TODAY about a thing called The Chinatown Bus!! $30 each way from Columbus, OH to NYC!! Yippee ki yi fucking YAY!!! This means that all my friends in New York City will soon get tired of seeing me! I am so psyched!!)
But before I can take off for New York again, I have at least one project I need to get a first draft on. So I gotta stay put for awhile here, but it's nice to know that NYC is getting more do-able again. I am really, really happy about that. For me, NYC is a sanity-saver...
Okay, well, as everything gets more and more hectic in this final countdown to Christmas, I'm going to leave you with something a little more calming:

OOPS! I meant this:

Ha ha!! Okay, gang, have a good night!! See ya.
