Happy Birthday, Keith!!
Yay!! Keith Richards is 712 years old TODAY!! Happy, happy. Joy, joy. (No, actually I think he might be closer to 68, today, but who's counting???)
I don't know about you guys, but I am stupidly busy over here -- now that Christmas has been thrown into the usual mix of insanity. But I did get to the gazillion-plex to see Hugo yesterday in 3D (finally) thanks to the Christmas Cheer of my stalwart cousin. Yay. (That convoluted sentence means that my cousin treated me to a movie yesterday.)
We loved Hugo, btw. And not just because the 3D effects were pretty spectacular, or because the story is really touching, but also because it is a sort of homage to silent films. And loyal readers of this lofty blog need not be reminded of how much I love silent films and that whole era.
So, even though I was exhausted, I loved the film! And in return for that great Christmas gift, this morning, I'm driving my cousin to the airport so that she can spend about two weeks in sunny Florida!!
Then I think I will officially collapse for the remainder of the day.... (or bake cranberry-orange nut bread! It remains to be seen.)
