Well, howdy!!

I am back from Kentucky and it was quite a success on so many levels. Not the least of which was learning how to drive over bridges without triggering a full-blown anxiety attack -- thanks to the loving support of a friend.

In fact, the whole trip could not have happened without the love and support of friends, colleagues, and family.

Now all I have to do is WORK super hard!! Yay!!!

Sadly, though, since I did all this traveling in the last 2 1/2 months, I have no spare money whatsoever to spend on Christmas stuff -- like baking cookies, which I love to do. But you know what? I keep thinking that next Christmas, this will all be worth it and that next Christmas, I'll be baking up a storm. I am just so grateful this year for my truly loving friends, the love and support of my family, my tireless muse (who I will be working overtime starting right now, today!! yay!!), and also the love of somebody who re-appeared in my life recently whom I thought had disappeared for good. I might not have any Christmas cookies baking in the oven, but, honestly, I have so much to be grateful for that I couldn't be happier!!

Well, okay. That said, we are shifting into hardcore Christmas gear around here, beginning with the coffee mug!! There are certain coffee mugs that are simply too Christmas-y to bring out too early in the season, even for me. But today turned out to be the day that this guy (below) came out, so clearly the countdown to Christmas ecstasy has begun, cookies or no cookies. Yay!!

All right, have a good Thursday, wherever you are, gang, and take a moment to count your blessings right now, regardless of what you celebrate or don't celebrate. Let's face it, you are just so fucking blessed!! See ya, gang. Thanks for visiting.
