Current Pest Control Problem Solved!
As most of you know by now, as the happy owner of an entirely-made-from-wood home, this year I have been plagued with reasons for calling Terminix way more than I would like. (Yes, I'm a professional writer!! You can learn so much important stuff from my sentence structure!! So take notes.)
I had a black carpenter ant infestation, followed -- with frightening speed -- by termites. And now, at this merry time of year, we all have to watch out for this next invasion. Yes, GRINCHES!!!! Luckily, Fluffy has it all under control! And her services are entirely free of charge!! Yay!!
[Fluffy catching a Grinch that had, unbeknownst to moi, made its way up onto the bed.]

Yes, I'm just being silly!! How unusual for me. However... Christmas is slowly but surely making its way from seasonal basement storage out into the actual living area of my home. I am a little out of sorts because I have a cold, so things are just sort of coming out as I get the energy for them. Meaning that it will be a few days before I have enough energy to set up the tree.
But can you believe its time for Christmas again already??? Jeepers. Honestly. Where does the time go? One thing I can tell you, though, is that I am in a way better place this Christmas than I was last Christmas. I had a couple weird relationship SNAFUs in 2010, and that has worked itself out quite nicely. Plus, as everyone knows, I have a ton of career stuff going on that is mind-bogglingly great. It sure beats those years from 2007 to 2010 when I watched the plummeting economy rip the bottom out of my publishing career, thus causing it to hemorrhage (spelling bee time; who the fuck can spell hemorrhage without spellcheck???) all over the place...
Now, I have more work than I can handle, which is, frankly, what I prefer to sitting around angsting about everything! (Yes, for me, "angst" is an active -- perhaps exceedingly active -- verb!!)
Okay. On that note, it is Tuesday and I don't know what happened to Monday, so in order to get a head start on Wednesday, I better close this and get crackin' around here!! Thanks for visiting, gang!! See ya!!
