What a weekend!

Daryl and I spent a really great day in London on Friday, gang. The weather was just gorgeous. Sunny and mild. we spent the whole day in Mayfair, then went to the British Library where I partook of some seriously chocolate cake! (Yes, even with all my walking around here, I am still putting on weight! It's called ale, ale, and more ale mixed with tons of red wine, cheese, etc.)

Okay. I digress.

Also while in London, we attended a reading at Sh! to launch new books for both KD Glass and Maxim Jakubowski! I won a door prize, FINALLY, but sadly the prize was a book I already own because I am in it. luckily, though, Daryl then "won" my door prize by proxy... (meaning that I then handed the book to Daryl and said, "here, you can have this!")

On Thursday, we spent the day in Hereford, England, which involved driving for a while in Wales. I had such a great time. Hereford is a really, really pretty English Village. I just loved it.

We were there working, however, so I didn't get to see much of the town when it was still daylight and I could take photos. so the only photos I got were of that cat Noodle, pictured down below somewhere, and the bunnies and one of the pubs we visited.

Okay. Today I am back in Bristol and am going to be working on my presentation for this coming Friday at the Last Tuesday Society in London. then we are going to an area of Bristol called Clifton to see the Clifton Suspension Bridge, which was built in like 1812 or something like that. Then tonight, more ale, ale, and still more ale as we visit yet another incredible pub!

(BTW, these blog posts are done via emails, so please just overlook my inability to use ITALICS right now! Ha ha) Okay, gang, see ya! Thanks for visiting.
