Isn't the human body astounding?
That teeny-tiny little blackberry seed embedded in my gum (see post from yesterday) was finally ousted by those magical little cells who had surrounded the intrusion in the first place and were causing me all that pain.
What's amazing (I mean besides the fact that we have bodies at all) is how instantaneously the pressure and the pain disappeared the moment that tiny seed was ousted, you know? It took a few aspirin to get the swelling to go down, but the pain and pressure left immediately. Isn't that amazing? I mean, really. When the body is left to its own devices, it just does what it needs to do. (I guess that's why God didn't create us with third hands & long sharp pointy things attached to us!!)
Okay!!! Yippee ki yi yay, gang!! The Kindle edition of Twilight of the Immortal got published yesterday and should appear in the Kindle store within a day or two. Gosh, that took forever, didn't it???
It is already available on Smashwords, though, and you can view it here if you feel so inclined! And if you're unfamiliar with Smashwords, they let you download a sample portion for free.

Okay, the countdown officially begins, gang. One week from today I finally leave for Paris. Then the following week, I fly to Bristol and I will be in various cities in England for 2 weeks after that.
With the Kindle thing finally done, this means I have to start storing the summer clothes, bringing out the fall clothes, taking a ton of clothes to Goodwill, and then PACKING!! Yay!!
It's rainy and mild here today -- feels like it's going to be a perfect fall day. Well, the kind of perfect fall day that includes rain as opposed to sun. Either way, I love it. Fall is my favorite time of year!! (And I am so freakin' glad to have that Kindle thing off my plate, finally!!!) See ya, gang. Thanks for visiting!!
