Wow, Wednesday already!
Seems like a second ago it was Sunday morning and I had nothing but time on my hands. Now suddenly it's Wednesday and I have nothing but work to do for as far as the eye can see!!
One more week before school starts around here and so the town is totally dead. Everyone seems to be on those family vacations all at the same time. The last hurrah before the torture starts all over again. I live right across from the local high school so that's why I'm aware of this stuff. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with school anymore. I can't think of anything I hated more than school -- oh wait; when I was in the mental hospital they made me go to school, so that double-whammy was probably something I hated more than just "school." Thank god that's over.
See? Always something to be grateful for every day! Just think about in what ways life could be a whole lot worse and suddenly the outlook brightens considerably. Yay.
The perfect weather is still holding. For over a week now. Down into the 50s at night, low 80s during the day, plenty of sunshine, then a bit of rain for the plants & green things during the night. All of the sudden I'm living in Utopia around here. It's too weird. It's perfect picnic weather but my stalwart cousin is still off in Russia. The house is completely clean and comfortably cool and TCM is full-steam-ahead with Summer Under the Stars, and yet I'm totally alone here with my 3 cats again...Sort of feels like a weird version of Groundhog Day. (Hey, maybe this means that I'm getting ready to fall in love...)
