Just sayin' a quick "hey!"

Wow, I'm almost done!! I've just about cleaned the entire house. Even things like sweeping and mopping under the bed in Fluffy's room -- not something most folks would ever want to deal with, trust me! It's almost the kind of clean where you could put a For Sale sign in your front yard and not feel freaked out if total strangers suddenly took a tour of every nook & cranny of your home.

Almost.

I still have a complete service for 8 of Wedgewood china that I have no clue where to put... I could store it in an attic; I have two attics that are completely empty, but these are dishes I actually use. (As opposed to the complete service for 12 of fine china that I store in the buffet and almost never use...) This is going to be a very interesting challenge. I suppose I could put the leaf in the dining room table and simply keep the table formally set for 8 at all times (not sure how to manage 4 different types of soup bowls per place setting, though...)

Can you imagine how insane that would be? I have a pretty tiny living/dining room area -- having the table always set for 8 with very valuable dishes and 3 cats on the loose...

Well, you know, gang, in the scope of things, this isn't the worst problem I've ever had. I'm sure I'll figure out something exciting. (And it's not going to involve getting rid of any plates. I'm a dish-aholic! I love dishes!!) (Oh, here's something interesting: In preparation for leaving Hawaii, Bill Brent got rid of a whole lot of his possessions -- which included shipping many really cute bar glasses to moi because I really love really kitschy bar glasses from years gone by. I'm real curious to see where I'm gonna put those...) (I know I have plenty of storage, but I have this need to keep everything handy, you know? B/c you never know when you're going to want to use 8 shot glasses with different nostalgic bowling themes on them, you know????)

Okay, well I've still got the mighty kitchen to clean around here, gang, so I'm gonna get crackin' -- just wanted to say "hey" and that I hope you had a really great weekend! Thanks for visiting! See ya!!

[There is no such thing as too many plates!!][Not my actual dining room table; just a reasonable facsimile.]
