Before the rain comes (again)...
Yes, about 5 more days of rain are expected, beginning tomorrow, gang. So before that, I wanted to share what happened in the gardens today.
The first of the regular roses bloomed today:
The first peony bloomed today:
Some more of the old roses, blooming outside of the kitchen door (these smell unbelievable, gang):

Some of the mad craziness in the backyard. There's been so much rain, the lawncare guy has not had a chance to pull any weeds yet. Here are old pink roses, columbine, flowering chives, and more old red roses in the background, along with some really exotic stuff called grass:
