SUN!!!!!!
The sun is shining again today, and I have proof!
(But first, I want to mention that I know that the word "eek" is actually spelled "eke" (See post from yesterday re: the sun) but it looked too strange to write "eking" so I wrote "eek-ing" instead, since by now I surely must be entitled to some sort of poetic license around here....)
Yes. gang. Yesterday was a stunner of a day. Glorious bright sunshine after 40 years of rain; blue skies, 75 degrees Fahrenheit. And, yes, I did choose to spend 3 hours of it sitting in a dark movie theater and watching a bunch of muddy scab-encrusted pirates and lithe bonnie mermaids and such. But guess what? I'd do it again in a heartbeat!! Yay!!
Okay, the old roses are in bloom outside my kitchen door this lovely morning!!! Consider yourselves regaled, gang!!
