I'm so excited!!
Next Tuesday, Bob Dylan will be turning 70! Why is this so exciting to me? I guess mostly b/c he is still alive. I find that kind of thrilling.
For some inexplicable reason, my stalwart but ever-rock-n-rollin' cousin has never seen that incredible documentary Scorsese did about Dylan a few years back, No Direction Home. So I said, "Well, how about we spend next Tuesday celebrating Dylan's 70th birthday by watching No Direction Home together???" (At her house, of course, b/c she has one of those enormously huge flat screen TVs.)
She said "sure!" so that's what we're going to do. I have a couple of other surprises in store for that day, too, but I'm not going to post them here, or they won't be a surprise!!
