The return of "Ask Keith" !!
Yay!!
My ever-vigilant cousin alerted me to the return of "Ask Keith" on the KeithRichards.com web site yesterday.
I had no idea it was returning from anywhere b/c I never knew there was ever an option to ask Keith anything. However, I visited the web site and discovered that right now, you can indeed ask Keith a question and he might actually answer it! (I won't tell you what I asked him, but I hope he answers b/c I actually really would like to know what his answer might be!)
While I was on the site, I friended "him" on facebook and started following "him" on twitter. You can imagine my delight when, very early this morning, there was a message in my inbox that said, "A direct email from Keith Richards."
Well, I wasn't born yesterday, gang! I know it's only a direct email from whoever it is who's running Keith's twitter account, but still!!! How cool, to open your inbox and see: a direct email from Keith Richards... I saved it!
(In case you were wondering what his email said, it was this: "Dear Marilyn, Thank you so much for buying all my records over the years, and everything that so much as looks like one of my records, and all my books, and books on tape, and everything else I might get royalties on or merchandising residuals from, and for making me such an indescribably wealthy guy!! Oh, and thanks for following me on twitter. -- Keith")
(You got it, babe. It's been a pleasure.)
