My daffodils are almost blooming!!

Most of the miniature daffodils have already bloomed and all those tiny little purple things all over the front garden are blooming . But the big fat bursts of YELLOW are still getting ready to regale me.

All right, well. Life is insane. Had 2 clients yesterday. A one-hour teleseminar from L.A. last evening, plus the French-English screenplay translation thingie appeared back in my INBOX yesterday needing some tweaking, so that took a few hours last night and here this morning. But it's done!! It's gone back to Paris. And it will be going to Cannes!! -- in lieu of me, I guess!!

I also finished reading The Lady in the Lake (see post below somewhere) and, Christ, what a great piece of detective fiction that is, from start to finish. It made me dig out my old copy of The Little Sister (check out that crazy cover!!). I'm going to start reading that one again, tonight. After I write another chapter or two of the new novel...
