Okay, got the epilogue written yesterday along with Chapter 1 of the new crime novel, The Violin Girl. Of course, the chapters are going to be really short and it took me 10 hours to do that small amount but at least it's getting done! Yay!

Then I totally burned out my eyes reading The Lady in the Lake. I hadn't read that great book since I lived back on E. 12th Street in NYC back in the 1980s. Not that The Violin Girl is anything like a Raymond Chandler novel, I just happen to love Raymond Chandler. (Very much.) (Another one of my writer-heroes who literally drank himself to death.)

Then, after I couldn't see up close anymore, I put the book down and got in bed and decided to watch things from a distance, so I watched Team America: World Police. I am not a South Park fan at all; I'm just totally not their target audience by any stretch, but Team America was so funny that most of the time, I was crying.

Needless to say, it is thoroughly 100% stupid humor, and there's something in it to offend absolutely everyone, plus I was really tired, but, Jesus, it was so funny. And it has absolutely the very best (hetero) sex scene in any movie in all the known history of film. Alas, though, it takes place between two marionettes, but still! It was rockin'!! Yay!!
