Yay!! That would be moi!
You know, yesterday, as it got closer & closer to class time, I became increasingly more interested in Lord Peter Wimsey and that Chianti sitting there so snappily in the wine rack. Sooooo... I once again read over the PDF handout for the class, looked at the "quiz" part and realized I already knew the answers and that, really, how much more was I going to learn about my craft in the next 3 hours that, a.) I didn't already know; or b.) couldn't reasonably fake in a pinch?
So! I shut off the computer, opened the wine, popped the popcorn and loaded up the DVD player and had a ball!
And the other good news was that, even though this was from the 1980s Lord Peter Wimsey "Deadly-Serious" era, this particular movie was chock full of mirth and 1920s-style merriment -- I really enjoyed it.
Today is all about that French/English screenplay translation thingie. (Can you believe I'm still working on that??? Well, I am. But I seriously need to get it off my plate, as they say -- No, not to make room for carrot cake!! To make room for more work!!) (Yay!)
And I was able to take my walk already this morning. This makes 5 days in a row, gang!! I'm so psyched. Mostly, I'm eager to get my quite comely behind to look a little less "behind" and a little more "comely". Now that I don't go to the club anymore, I don't use the treadmill or the rowing machine. It's just yoga and abs all winter long. Oh, and of course, sitting at the laptop for hours on end... you get the picture, I'm sure!
But out I went this morning at 7 AM, even though it was only 28 degrees. I figure, as long as there's no ice or snow out there, I'm going to head out in search of Spring! And there actually are daffodils starting to poke their leaves up out of the dirt here & there -- including in my own garden! (It's really coming, gang -- SPRING!). And also b/c a friend has made me super-duper joyful; I want to just get out there and romp around! (I am already having the best spring, ever, in the known history of the world.)
Okay! Enjoy your Sunday, wherever it finds you, gang!! Thanks for visiting! See ya!
[Soon, amigos!!]
