It's almost 5 PM and I'm finally done working, yay!!
It got up to 51 degrees here today which meant I got to take a break and go on my walk for the first time since November. It felt so fantastic!!
I've still got a lot of snow here but a lot of it's melted now. In time for a semi-green Valentine's Day. I'll be "quasi" celebrating it by having a very late lunch with a very old friend tomorrow at the California Pizza Kitchen, so I know that will be fun -- if not very chocolatey, but, you know what? Godiva is right over there, too, and I might just stop in before lunch and splurge on myself tomorrow!! Yay!!
And now: some popcorn, a little more of that very decent Chianti wine and the best gift the Universe ever gave me (save for, I guess, Johnny Depp): William Powell in glorious black & white!!
