OMG, people, why am I always writing a synopsis???
Why??? B/c suddenly everyone's interested in my stuff -- that's why!! Yay.
But loyal readers of this lofty blog no doubt recall that I hate writing synopses and that they take a ton of focusing and take me a very long time to write.
This most recent one, however, is for the current screenplay and I wrote it along with Jerry so it's been easier.
And the upside??? (I mean, aside from people wanting to read my stuff, that is): I have a very decent Chianti here and another Lord Peter Wimsey murder mystery from the library -- and the combination of the two REALLY helps me unwind after writing.
Except.... this new movie is from a Lord Peter Wimsey series the BBC did back in the 1980s, and the ones I really love are from the early 1970s. These later ones should be called Lord Peter "Deadly-Serious" instead of "Wimsey." They took all the mirth and merriment out of the character, as well as removing it from the 1920s-time period in which the stories are set.
(Heavy sigh.) But I'm persevering. At least it's a good mystery and I can't figure out who did it or why, and it's 5 hours long so it keeps me bouncing back down to the kitchen for more Chianti a couple of nights running!!
Okay. Life's good!! I know it's Saturday, but, alas, I gotta get back to a little more work before calling it a day (and heading for the kitchen!) See ya!!
