Some total stranger was kind enough to post a photo online that has the Camelot Building in it!
Ignore the red arrow that says: We lived 1/2 block up that way.
Instead, look at the building directly behind the arrow -- the building that is 18 stories high, on the left, that almost looks like it is striped -- alternating rows of brick with rows of windows -- with beige-ish vertical stripes.
That is the lovely Camelot Building on the NW corner of W. 45th Street & 8th Avenue, where I lived with my first husband in profound connubial bliss (or was it in "deeply deranged insanity"? Suddenly I can't remember! I only remember that his nickname for me in those days was Lucy Ricardo ...) from 1981 to 1983 (see post below).
