In keeping with yesterday's theme...

Yes, my cousin and I had our 3-hour lunch yesterday! The snow was flurrying outside, while we were inside staying warm right by the fireplace. The restaurant was practically empty so no one seemed to care that we sat for 3 hours and chatted our heads off.

Here's a clue as to who babbles on the most: I always have a plate full of congealing food long after my cousin has finished eating...

Right before I awoke this morning, I had a dream that she and I were back in a restaurant, talking on & on & on, but this time a maitre d' in a shiny tuxedo came over to me specifically and said, "Miss, could you please page your car?" Then I woke up!

So funny! -- meaning, I went to bed last night singing that screwy song from that movie Page Miss Glory (see below). And I awoke today to some phantom gatekeeper of physical reality asking me to page my car & get back to the real world.

Ah well. So here I am. I have a ton of editing still on my plate, gang. I am going to try to get through a good chunk of it today. I want this thing turned in sometime this week. I am once again getting back-logged with projects. Although I am SO not complaining!  It is so great to be back on the upswing, career-wise. These last couple years of drought have been so depressing. (Also, just FYI, in case you care about these things, the indie film market is finally bouncing back, too! Movies are selling right & left at Sundance this year! A very healthy sign.)

Okay, on that note, I'm either going to get crackin' here or... crawl back into bed and snuggle with Fluffy for awhile. It is so grey and gloomy-looking out there, whereas it was so lovely in Dreamland. Ah well. See ya, gang!
