Yay on all fronts!
I don't watch awards shows normally (although I will probably watch, or at least record, the Golden Globes), I did see in the news that Johnny Depp won another People's Choice Award last night! Yay! (Although I think it was The Wrap that said something about the Mad Hatter being one of his "least memorable roles"! Those fuckers! what the fuck is their fucking problem??? Unbelievable! Clearly, too much booze has rotted their ability to reason. Well, I guess somebody somewhere has to stand up for mediocrity and ordinariness -- The Wrap's got that sector covered!! Yay!)
Okay, anyhow.
Fluffy is astounding! If I'd accidentally yanked out my own tooth while hiding under the bed and was then gushing blood from my mouth at 6 o'clock in the morning... I don't think I would have been too frisky yesterday. But what do you know, gang? She seemed a little listless at times but nothing more. And she was positively THRILLED with being switched back to canned food! Big yay on that front!! She's back to living the life of Riley with all 3 of her teeth. Amazing. (I so love that cat.)

Not only do I now have a new furnace that works great and takes up half the space in the basement as the old one did (plus they put a new pump on my AC so that I don't have to empty a bucket of water every few hours all summer long!!) I also got a new stove yesterday -- for free! One of those smooth top ceramic stoves, a convection oven, no less and a self-cleaning one, too. I really am just astounded.
In parting, a word of advice...
If you're checking your email at 5 AM and there's something waiting there for you from your agent, skip it until later! No reason to depress yourself at 5 fucking AM!! Move on to something else! (You know that if she ever has good news she will drop everything and call you on the freaking phone.) But onward, right??!
It just means you're one step closer to finding the right match. I really do believe that, but sometimes that isn't MY FIRST RESPONSE...
