I don't know about YOU guys!
But I got some weight to lose over here!! Wow. Pretty decent holiday, all things considered, and I topped it all off last night with birthday cake that was to die for. (My cousin is another year older -- and maybe even a little wiser! Yay!) It was one of those moments where you know you can't possibly eat another mouthful of anything and then suddenly this astoundingly delicious-looking piece of birthday cake is set before you and you figure, okay, just this last thing and then we start the New Year... and then I thought I was going to explode.
As I was puttering in the kitchen with breakfast this morning, I was wondering, "Okay, now what did I used to eat before I started eating everything in sight? B/c now I have to go back to eating only that" and I'm drawing a big blank. Hmmm. Here's hoping it will come back to me posthaste.
I had a really sweet day yesterday. I didn't get to take another walk b/c it didn't stop raining until the sun went down, but I did the yoga, meditation, journaling, etc., etc., but other than that, I just laid around and did something I never do -- I watched TV!! I kept switching back & forth between the Three Stooges marathon on AMC and the Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi (must I really spell it Syfy now???) Anyway. It was so fun. So nice & mindless & fun; then dinner with my cousin for her birthday.
However, today, the holidays are officially over & I've gotta get back into the work routine around here. Back to the world of deadlines! Yay. Plus, I gotta take that tree down. I never enjoy that part of Christmas; do you?
On a parting note... Yesterday, I was checking out the "most visited links" for 2010 and this one about Keanu I thought was very funny. I really genuinely love Keanu and most people have a lot of trouble with that b/c they think I should be smarter than that. However, I don't care what people think; I still love Keanu. This link takes you to the Ten Best Sad Keanu Images -- one photo of Keanu sitting on a park bench, looking sad that was then photo-shopped by fans. It's nothing mean-spirited, just funny. I particularly liked "Cold Puppy Keanu" just b/c it's so bizarre. (It has all the earmarks of a Japanese girl playing with Photoshop but I have no clue who really did any of these.)
