Yippee ki yi yay, gang!
I was so mesmerized last night by all the candlelight, by the really seriously great episode of Midsomer Murders (I'd taken out set six from the library on Friday), and by my intensely cozy Vera Wang PJs -- Christmas PJS, mind you, but I figured; what the fuck? Why wait? They're really cute and really cuddly but unfortunately they're made of that really cheap fleece fabric so the drape of them is just awful, but oh well. It's not like I paid very much for them b/c they're made out of fleece, after all, and they do look really, really cute when they're folded all nicely and sitting in the bedroom drawer... Vera Wang does have such a nice eye for details (well, at least her worker bees do -- I seriously doubt Vera Wang herself took the time to design a cheap set of Christmas PJS made out of fleece...) (Well, maybe she spent some actual time designing Chelsea Clinton's cheap set of fleece Christmas PJs, but not mine, ha ha.)
Anyhow... I was so mesmerized by all the wonderfulness of life that I totally forgot to set my clocks back last night and when I got out of bed at 4:45 AM today, guess what happened? I realized I had a whole extra hour today to work on the memoir!! Yay! An extra hour straight from God. Wow. Sometimes life is so cool. (Yes, I realize that this means I once again got out of bed at 3:45 AM! See post from yesterday somewhere.)
On other wonderfulness/Christmas-related fronts: I'm also getting a piano in a couple weeks. A used one, but a real piano. I want to start playing again. I'm going to put it here in the living room and so I have no idea where I'm going to put the Christmas tree this year.
Okay, well, I guess I'll worry about that next month. (I still get this terribly exciting feeling that I'm going to have the very best Christmas regardless of whether I'm only feeling it inside or if I get the time to actually do something Christmas-y in my actual home.)
For now, I'm going to focus on pouring another cup of coffee and then I'm off to work on the memoir! (And here's a photo of just how corny I actually am! I know; the reality of my corniness never ceases to amaze even me, but here's my "cup o' joe" for this morning!! In my "Friendly Village" coffee cup -- my set is from 25 years ago, from back when Johnson Brothers was still making it in England and it was reasonably nice porcelain china. This isn't my "good china;" these are the dishes I use during November & December b/c of the autumnal & snow scenes. I know: I'm seriously nuts when it comes to dishes...)

Okey-dokey!! Have a seriously great extra-hour-Sunday, gang! And thanks for visiting!! I'm off. See ya.
