Mom & I saw Allan Toussaint last night at the Great Southern theater -- part of the Jazz Orchestra series. It was really cookin' -- as they say. Unreal. What an incredible songwriter. I'd forgotten just how many great songs that guy has written. He's a good storyteller, too. What a nice evening.
