Odds & Sods
Okay, I meant to post this several days ago, but I haven't seemed to find time to get online for very long!
NY-based erotic romance/BDSM writer of some renown, Claire Thompson, posted a really sweet mention of Freak Parade on her own blog the other day that I wanted to share with you. You can read it here , but you might need to scroll down a post or two.
In other news that is always all about me:
I will be appearing on Lisabet Sarai's blog on September 11th, blogging about Freak Parade, so be sure to stop by and ask me some really, really interesting questions, okay??? (I will remind you when we get anywhere near September 11th, so don't worry!)
Also, in other really interesting news about me: I seem to have sold 4 -- yes FOUR -- books last week (3 re-issues, one brand new -- all erotic). Once I have signed on the dotted line, I will make a more formal announcement here, so stay tuned!
Meanwhile, I am typing away here, so I apologize for my absence. I am working on one new erotic short story and also the proposal for my memoir. I'm also gearing up to turn 50 -- yes, fifty!! -- this coming Thursday! And I am so fucking excited, gang! I cannot wait.
First, on Wednesday, I will be going to the gorgeous "New Deal-era" Ohio Theater to watch Double Indemnity on the big screen (this I'm doing alone b/c I don't know anyone on Earth who is interested in old movies like I am). Here is a photo of the Ohio Theater:

Then on Thursday, I'm going to dinner with my family at one of my long-time favorite restaurants here, Schmidt's Sausage Haus !! Yay!! Beer & brats & then German Chocolate cake. They've got that oom-pah band going on on Thursdays so I guess I'll arrive early and stay late!! ha ha. No, seriously, it's really fun. (But probably the beer is key to the "fun" part, so we'll see how that goes. I'm not a big beer drinker.)
Anyway. That's the scoop for now, gang. Thanks for visiting. Rainy Monday here, but I hope it's gorgeous wherever you are!! See ya!

German restaurants and vintage theaters! I'm jealous! We have a really great German Restaurant here, it's all about the beer boot!

Uh-oh -- beer "boot" sounds like dangerous territory!
