I promised you a photo of the hedgehog happily emerging from after the weeds got pulled! (You'll notice that the clover is already starting to grow back.... unbelievable tenacity of weeds!)



And here's the incredible progress of the Mighty, Mighty Petunias growing through the cracks in the patio. (I have not yet begun to pull weeds from over there, though!) If you have never read the incredible book A Tree Grows in Brooklyn now might be an appropriate time!
