Now that the synopsis for the Valentino book is done, I decided to take a little break from writing up all those promotional materials for Freak Parade, and instead get a head start on one of those 3 new short stories I need to write for my publishers in Paris.

Isn't that a cool idea??? Meaning, not waiting until the final moment before the deadline to get started on all three?!! I know! It's a pretty impressive idea -- and I actually came up with it all by myself!!

Hey, the baseball game was really fun the other night, gang. But since my camera was out of batteries, and since the store I usually buy my camera batteries in was all out of the batteries I needed and since I didn't feel like wasting a bunch of time running around to other stores in search of batteries, I bought a really cute, dirt-cheap digital camera to take to the game.

The camera worked -- meaning, there are pictures in there. The fucked-up part though, is that I can't get the photos to download to my computer!! It keeps saying there's some type of error and it closes itself down. So until I can figure out how to get those photos out of the camera, I leave you with a reasonable facsimile of our evening at the baseball game:
