Torn is Amber's first novel and it is a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award in the Bisexual Fiction category (non-erotic). This is a Teen, or Young Adult, novel about bisexual friends living in Southern California. It was a wonderful book. The awards will be given out in New York City on May 27th -- good luck to you, Amber!

Also, some friends will be on hand at the awards this year as presenters: Rachel Kramer Bussel and Cecilia Tan! Should be so much fun, I wish I were going!!

However, I will be sticking close to home for a while here. My work on my memoir begins this week. Today, in fact, gang! So thank your lucky stars you don't have to live with me for the coming year!!! Yikes!!!

Meanwhile -- everything's blooming like mad around here, gang. It's raining non-stop, but at least while I get down to work here in my sunroom-office, the view will be priceless.
