Finally! It only took a fucking month, but I finally finished the revisions on Chapter 8 of Freak Parade -- the chapter that was clogged up with way too much exposition. Now it is a streamlined zip of only ten pages. And now I can fast forward to Chapter 17 and kind of head down the old home stretch again. Yay.

I had a great day yesterday. Kept my ass in the chair; stayed -- for the most part-- at my desk. Still got to enjoy the incredible weather b/c Jay and I walked to one of my favorite little Mexican restaurants for dinner. And then after coming back home, we took out our favorite blue plastic fake Adirondack chairs and enjoyed an incredible evening.

So, onward! Have a bliss-filled Saturday, gang, wherever it finds you. I've got a weekend from hell coming up here and probably won't be back until sometime Monday, but I'll be fighting the good fight and thinking of you.
