leave you on this lovely Friday afternoon, thinking about worms!

So instead, I leave you with thoughts of what's going on around here tonight:

I am making homemade spanakopita for dinner:



and a Greek salad:



baking a loaf of bread:



and we're having a bottle of (French) red:


There are about 10 candles of various sizes in the room waiting to be lit; and flowers. And the table is set with the Wedgewood china (Devon Rose pattern -- a gift from my Uncle):



And we will most likely be listening to Danny Elfman's Alice in Wonderland soundtrack a zillion times because I am addicted to it now. After that, who knows? But if you're a loyal reader of this lofty blog, you can probably guess!! (Although I threw out the Pall Malls. It was the only way I could stop smoking them, alas...)

It should be a really lovely evening around here. I'm looking forward to it. (Isn't that better than thinking about worms?)
