I have no idea what to say
In August of 1981, I worked for the New York Public Interest Research Group. This is my work ID photo!! (PS: I hated that job!! I think I lasted 2 or 3 weeks, tops.) I was married to my first husband at this point and we lived in what used to be called Hell's Kitchen. We lived in this Filapina woman's living room.
And here's me at Christmas, 1985, before a party. I was separated from my husband & I lived on E. 12th Street by then. The poster is from Coppola's re-release of Abel Gance's 1927 silent masterpiece, Napolean. I love that film. You should watch it if you ever get the chance. It's amazing what they were doing in silent pictures. Most people today have no idea.
Okay, guess what this is???!!! Yes, the cake my mom had made for my 16th birthday in July of 1976! I loved that cake. My family went out for dinner right after this photo was taken and by the time we came back from the
restaurant to have cake & ice cream the dog had eaten half the cake!! Too funny.

This one of my favorite photos of myself b/c of where it was taken. It was from the summer of 1990. I was visiting my dearest friend on Earth, Paul Martin, when he worked for CarolCo Studios in North Carolina. He had a beach house on Wrightsville Beach. He worked in the movies as a set decorator, lead man, and sometimes when he got lucky, set designer. I think during this particular summer he was working on the sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He was my very best friend. He died from AIDS in 1999 when he was 40 years old.
