This is an erotic anthology and it includes my story "Diner en ville" (the French-language translation of my story "Dinner at 8" which originally appeared in Alison Tyler's Best Bondage Erotica Vol. 2, from like 2005 or something like that). It is a love story -- my kind of love story, anyway. Which means it decries racism and poverty and the social class system and it celebrates bondage and female submission (in this case, hetero); and love, for the most part, conquers all. Or, at least, it wishes it could.

Also, I forgot to mention it, but in the UK and here in the US, The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica Volume 9 will be on sale very soon. It includes my story "Baby, It's Cold Outside," which appeared in the Rachel Kramer Bussel antho, Bedding Down, published by Avon Red last winter.

However, this story is erotic romance, which means that in general, it isn't as -- shall we say, challenging? -- as my usual fare (for instance, the aforementioned "Dinner at 8"). But I am grateful, nonetheless, that the story was considered among the best of the erotic stories published here and in the UK in 2009. And if you like "happily ever after" endings, you'll get one in this story, for sure! Yippee ki yi yay.
