Progress!!

The good news is that the 3 bedrooms are almost done! The books, papers, records, fax machine, filing cabinet, bookshelves, etc., etc., have been moved downstairs, and all the furniture in the bedrooms has been re-arranged to make room for a king-sized bed in the main bedroom, which arrives along with my sweetie tomorrow (yay!).

The bad news, of course, is that this is what the game table down in my family room looks like today! So I gotta get crackin' on that enormous pile of my life this morning. (Does it seem like I have some sort of Ghost of Christmas Past or something hanging out in that chair on the right??? Hmm. I'll have to investigate that.)

Some other sort of bad news is that while I was rustling up all the multitudes of dust bunnies early yesterday evening, the vacuum cleaner got really jammed. Yuck. Guess who had to turn the machine over and investigate the digustingly filthy problem in the roller? It was so bad, that I had to stop everything, get a screwdriver and open up the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, and then tons more filth fell out onto the floor and onto me.

And guess what the jam-up was? Two years of cat hair from 3 cats, you might ask? Nope. If you guessed about two years worth of stray strands of my own really, really long silver hair wrapped unbelievably tightly around the roller then you go to the head of the fuckin' class, gang! I could not believe it! My own hair! YUCK!!

As loyal readers of this lofty blog no doubt recall, pretty much the minute I was through with menopause, I started losing my hair. Well guess what? I found it!! ha ha ha.

(I got my hair cut yesterday morning, btw. Had about 3 inches of it chopped off and it is now shoulder-length and really swingin'.) (Plus I also take biotin by the handfulls, gang. It did make my hair grow back, although it is still thin.) Anyway.

The other sort of bad news is that while I was trying to cut loose all that disgusting hair from the roller, I accidentally broke the belt.  So there you have it: another trip to the store for moi today. But onward!
