Wowie -- Finally!

I am actually finally beginning to feel back to normal (i.e., not overwhelmingly tired and stubbornly depressed).

I wish I had batteries in my camera. I could show you how incredible the view is now from my new office. The leaves on the maple tree are orange-yellow and they are all over the ground, plus there are still hundreds more leaves getting ready to fall. This morning, around 7, I went out to fill the bird feeder and the sky was overcast. Being under that tree with all those golden leaves, and standing in several inches of leaves that had already fallen -- it gave the entire world an eerie sort of glowing light. It was so serene and so beautiful.

Well, yes, a little chocolate goes a long way towards feeling happy! Plus, mom stopped over for some chili last night and a glass of -- shall we say, unusual? -- red wine. Don't want to call it all out bad wine, but it was just really unusual tasting. On the first sip, I thought it was the worst wine I'd ever had in my entire life! But then it grew on me... So that was a nice change of pace from all the angst-ing I've been doing around here these last few days. Plus a total of about 4 and half hours of talking long-distance to my "senior prom date" yesterday helped an awful lot.

And now, I must get back to the deadlines around here. I "leave" you with this (pun intended, naturally!) lovely photo that I swiped off the Internet just for you. Thanks for visiting, gang! See ya!
