It's official!
I'm having a serious "need to feel better" day in a big way, gang. I am overwhelmed with work, as in "writing deadlines" along with new writing projects that I wish I could start but I have these deadlines, etc., etc.
I feel so overwhelmed and exhausted, in fact, that I am tempted to feel a little depressed. I have even made a cup of coffee just now in order to try and stave off that temptation to feel depressed. If that doesn't work, I'll try more chocolate. Then perhaps next I will try a combo of prescription painkillers and alcohol -- it worked famously for people like Judy Garland and Liza Minelli and Truman Capote. Or it worked for a while, anyway. And all I need, really, is a while. ha ha ha.
Well, here's one thing that usually does make me feel better, so I'll post it here and then I'll get back to work here, gang. See ya real soon, I hope.
