My morning walk was really lovely today -- the trees seemed more beautiful than ever. Fall is just about here, gang. And my Denver-friend (loyal readers of this lofty blog know him better as my senior prom date from 31 years ago) will be here to visit me again in about 2 weeks. Then it's off to Paris. And then, shortly after I return, my senior prom-friend will be coming back once again and this time bringing along all his furniture and stuff! Yes, it has been one fantastic year pour moi! I will keep you posted as it unfolds.

Early feedback from editors regarding my Valentino novel has been very positive, gang. It's still too early to give any concrete info here, but it's safe to say that I am elated. I will of course regale you with all the merriment as it becomes appropriate to do so. Meanwhile...
