I was sound asleep in Blissville; it was 6:30 AM -- a little late for me, I know, but not exactly "unheard of". Suddenly and simultaneously, Buster claws one of my feet while Bunny "taps" the top of my head -- with her claws out.
Aaaaahh! I was suddenly wide awake, springing up in bed. It hurt, damn it.
From my bed, I can see down the steps to the kitchen and in that nanosecond, I see that they are both sitting down there, sweet as you please, right next to the pantry, with that look on their pretty faces: "What -- us? We didn't do anything! But as long as you're up..."
I got out of bed, then, because I saw that it was a beautiful morning! And so, here I am.
First on the agenda is to knock it off with all this beer, pizza, wine, etc. I've put on 3 pounds!! Crikey, as they say on the other side of the world. And on that happy note, it's off for a 3 mile walk. See ya later, folks!
