Christmas Fests!

Well, ouch, gang! Did you see the expose on the Plaza Hotel in this month's Vanity Fair magazine? Yowza. I  knew when they tried to make it go condo, it would be a huge mistake. Sad.

On other New York City holiday fronts, this comes by way of Iris in NYC:

Hi, all! I hope you are well and will have a joyous holiday and new year!

I will be performing—poetry and song, with musical accompaniment by David McConegheyat Evie Ivy’s upcoming holiday show—and I get to do so with a cane! Perhaps I will festoon my cane with candy canes? Popcorn? Cranberries? Multicolored electric lights? Xenopeltis unicolor (one Sunbeam snake)?

Come to find out! There will be a variety of fabulously talented people, as follows:

Sat., Dec. 27th, 6 p.m. ** Bowery Poetry Club (308 Bowery, bet. Bleecker & Houston; F train to Second Ave. or 6 train to Bleecker) ** $15
