"My band, Jersey Petroleum, is playing at Cornelia Street Cafe on September 21st @ 6 p.m., on the same bill with Jean Lehrman and Ngoma. Jersey Petroleum consists of Ron Bass on lead vocals, John Stanford on guitar and back-up vocals, and all other instruments (for the moment) pre-recorded on a trusty iPod. Ron Bass is the author of The Velveeta Underground, a collection of short stories and one act plays. John Stanford is also the leader of the band Modchik.
