Loyal readers of this lofty blog will no doubt recognize the name Peitor Angell. He is a songwriter/record producer out in Hollywood and one of my best friends-cosmic twin. I've written about him frequently on this blog over the years.

Hard as it is to imagine it, he is turning 50 on Monday, June 9th. We have been close friends since we were in our early 20s and worked at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Tonight, in Beverly Hills, Charo is having a record-release party at her home (huge mansion is more accurate) and she will be singing Happy Birthday to Peitor. How cool is that? (He produced a dance club remix track on her upcoming Espana Cani.)

Here is a photo of Peitor taken about 2 weeks ago on Catalina (an island off the coast of Los Angeles, for those of you who could not really care less about where anything is in the United States...) All I can say is I hope I look half as good as this when I turn 50 (which is only 2 years from now). Happy Birthday, Amigo!
