If it's true, that is...

It is alleged that Tim Burton will be directing the newest movie version of Dark Shadows. If that's true, I cannot fucking wait!! And of course Johnny Depp is attached to it in some way although I'm not really clear in what way -- producing, I think, but also playing Barnabus Collins? It's sad to think he's getting old enough now to play men that have been dead for hundreds of years...ha ha.

But I'm psyched. I used to love that TV show -- why wouldn't I? It was the 60s and it was totally corny. I loved everything about the 60s. (Especially since I wasn't a poor black child, nor was I eligible for the draft so I didn't have to go fight in Viet Nam; so, what's not to love, right?)

Anyway... What a cool TV show. It used to come on right when I was coming home from school every afternoon. And needless to say (although apparently I will say it anyway), I so love Tim Burton's movies. And Tim Burton and Johnny Depp together is what I live for. Yay!
