Who knew the hot water heater I had here in the house had been recalled due to faulty thermal couplings? The water heater has been in this house for nine years and I've only owned the home for about 18 months. A good way to find out if one of your major appliances has been recalled by its manufacturer is to have it breakdown on you and then try to get it fixed! Yay!

Me, talking to the guy at the Whirlpoorl 800 number yesterday: "I have to go without hot water for how long???"

Thankfully, there are really great showers and there is plenty of hot water at the club. But still...

Well, on we go.

It's another gorgeous morning around here, but I got up a little too late to go walking today, so it'll just be an hour of yoga and that's that. Must work on the novel today. Really, though, what could be better? I have 3 happy cats, a yard full of busy, busy little animals (chipmunks, groundhogs, squirrels, and birds galore), I've got flowers blooming, a lawn that isn't dead this year (yay!), and nothing but a wide-open day ahead for writing --  it's a veritable paradise. I can't complain!
