Just a quick hi-dee-ho because I am working like a fiend around here on the new novel. The days are flying by; I cannot believe it.

Twilight is one of those experiences where the book is at long last (after 8 years of researching it!) coming out faster than I can write it, so while I'm typing up one passage, I'm scribbling snippets of dialogue and plot for chapters that are still way down the road. It is a great feeling -- knowing the book is already in there; all I need to do is keep the floodgates open and -- yes! -- type faster!

Happy May Day everybody! Fifteen years ago today, I got married (again). What a lovely day that was; sunny, 70 degrees, dogwoods blooming all over, etc. That night, of course, I caught a bad cold and had a terrible soar throat -- perhaps I felt like screaming? One never knows... But you know, we were happy much of the time for quite a few years. (In mid-July, it'll be a year since the D-I-V-O-R-C-E became final, but oh well. Onward.)
