Satruday Night
I found a Bunny in my tub last night! (If you are new to this lofty blog, Bunny is not an actual rabbit, but is in fact a cat and, no, I don't have a rabbit named Kitty...).

For a 50 year old bathtub, it looks reasonably clean, doesn't it?
Well, we had a ton of snow yesterday but now it is all gone. You'd never know it had even snowed. I have my desk & my laptop in the living room these days, facing the big picture windows, so it was great, writing all day and watching it snow.
I moved the desk out of my office because I am extremely oppressed and intimidated by the enormous scanner that is now in my office. It totally freaks me out, in fact. It was a gift from Mark Pritchard -- my ever loyal and generous and considerate friend and fellow writer. He bought it for me when he learned that I had somehow lost, in its entirety, the file for my novel When the Night Stood Still and the novel is being re-issued in 2008. But it needs considerable revisions. (Hey! It's snowing again!)
Anyway, technology stresses me out. And as most of you know, I have had nothing but computer-related problems for the last 6 months. While I love having an incredibly great scanner, I find that I can only be creative when all this stuff is out of my field of vision.
But I love working in my living room. And since it conveniently still has no furniture even though I've lived here for more than a year already, it works out well.
Progress on When Hearts Collide (which will soon be called Love Unlimited, in its new, revised edition) is almost complete. As paper-thin and unrealistic and stupefyingly idealistic as this story is, I still love it. And I love Evan Crane. He's one of my favorite creations.
Okay! News from Another!
Here's someone we haven't heard from in a while, but it's great news:
From Jonathan Ames in NYC:
