Another add

I've been added to another author's list, thanks to Michael Walker at DreamWalker Group. You can view the listing here, and check out other writers/artists while you're at it.

This morning, at 6 AM, it was all about getting out their with the early birds and spraying the Japanese beetles on one of my rose bushes with environmentally friendly death spray. God, I hate killing things. But I just can't stand seeing those beetles on my roses and watching the leaves become practically transparent, they get so full of holes. So this morning was D-Day for a handful of beetles. (And why is it they always look like they're, well, having intercourse with each other at all times? They're always mounting each other. It pisses me off. Not because I'm jealous, per se. It's more because I can just see the many more beetles that will soon be arriving...)

While I was out there, I also wanted to spray the lawn with fertilizer (environmentally friendly fertilizer, of course). The kind that you attach right to your garden hose and it sort of just applies itself. It seems simple enough, but it went a bit awry, sort of in that I Love Lucy way. For a minute, it seemed to be going smoothly, when all of the sudden the fertilizer attachment on the hose started swinging around like some mad circular fountain and I was getting way more fertilized than the lawn was. Aaaargh! And I live on a really busy street. Thank god it was still so early and there weren't that many people out there on their way to work yet.... However, I was wearing my brand new, pink Calvin Klein tee shirt that I totally love. It was soaked with environmentally friendly lawn fertilizer.

Well, while I do yet another load of wash, I'm wearing instead, my black Hugo Boss tank top that used to belong to Benjamin Bratt. I will not go into the reason why I have a number of Benjamin Bratt's tee shirts, but I do. And I plan on keeping them until they toally dissolve into nothingness.

All righty! Gotta get crackin' here on Freak Parade. I only need about 350 more pages of revisions... but, truthfully, revisions are so much easier than writing from scratch. I'm really enjoying the process for a change. Hope you're all having a good day out there, wherever you are! Thanks for visiting.
