The central AC died yet again so it was delightfully sweltering around here yesterday. However, today is much more promising, at least weather-wise. But I'm only going to be working around here in the morning. And in the evening, I think I will be hanging out with my sister if she comes to town, not sure about that yet.

But this afternoon will be all about this:



I have been trying to get in to see this for weeks now, so I am really looking forward to it. Of course, it will be very bittersweet/disturbing watching Adrienne Shelley on screen. And her daughter has a role as one of the "phases" of the little girl, so that is kind of sad. But I am hoping to remove myself from the reality of life and just get lost in the picture for what it achieves outside of the realms of real people & the brutality of the world.
