tuesday already!
I'm not really sure where Monday went. If you have any helpful insights, please feel free to drop me a line...
I tried to get a photo of the groundhog yesterday to regale you with here on the blog. He was out in the backyard, partaking of a liesurely late-afternoon lunch. Not that my groundhog is any different from any of the other groundhogs you've likely come across in your many far-flung and various adventures, however...this groundhog is my groundhog and that makes all the difference.
But the sun was shining right into the camera lens, and when I tried to move out of the way of the sun, the groundhog saw me and took off at the speed of light.
Hence, I have nothing to regale you with today except little me.
On the work front, I am finally no longer at odds with the new novel. I've been at such a crucial point, plot-wise, for a couple weeks already and it was like trying to choreograph a Broadway musical comedy, or something. It has been very difficult to keep it funny, believable, meaningful, and in the right place to begin part two of the story, where everything totally changes gears. But we are at long last getting there!! (And you'll notice I refer to it as "we" during the hard part of writing the actual book. When the huge advance money pours in, I'm sure that "we" will revert to the singular "I" and "you" will no longer be quite so necessary. Ha ha. Alas! Such is life!)
Okay! One quick reminder from Emanuel Xavier in NYC, & then I'm outta here, folks! Thanks for visiting! Have a great Tuesday!
