Off I go, on my vacation to beautiful Richmond, Virginia! (However, where I'm actually going to be staying is nowhere near downtown, which is pictured here. I will in fact be out in the lush suburbs, and by lush, I don't necessarily mean that everyone there is drunk...)

And also, another sign of the impending publishing apocalypse: Insight Out Book Club, the book club for GLBT books, is being shut down by its new owner, Bertelsmann.
