I haven't been here in several days. I have been hard at work on other stuff and simply could not get here.

I guess by now you all know that the Lamda Literary Award Nominations came out late last week and the marvelous Rachel Kramer Bussel is nominated in the erotica category for her antho Glamour Girls, from Alice Street Editions. Congrats to Rachel!!

Sage Vivant, the lucky duckster, has a new video out to promote her upcoming book Your Erotic Personality. You can watch the video (and participate!) at this link. It's quite sexy and really cute, so check it out, gang!

And as for moi, well, I was recently alerted by UK-based Black Lace author, Mathilde Madden, that my Thunder's Mouth Press antho from this past October, Zowie! It's Yaoi! Western Girls Write Hot Stories of Boys' Love got a very nice review in the UK-based Scarlet Magazine. Mathilde was kind enough to mail me a copy of the zine. In short, they liked the hard-coreness of the book's erotic elements more than the traditional yaoi fans did:

"...This collection twists the genre. Getting rid of the cartoons and instead featuring prose--tales of boy love written in a Western way. Well-written, man-on-man action for women is rare, but this book achieves it, as demonstrated in the *very graphic* Hungry Ghost..." They then went on to quote a few hot lines from Bianca James's excellent novella.
