Okay!
It's all about news from others today.
Are you, as am I, a fan of the French singer Francoise Hardy??? If so, check out this video on youtube. It is so sweet, so pop-music-y. Keep watching for the skirts flying up toward the end!!
SF-based all-around-sexual-everything type goddess, Carol Queen has an announcement regarding the Center for Sex and Culture:
"Hi everyone!
We're planning our open house (March 10th) and looking forward to the Wet Spots show on the 16th, have finally got our floor painted, and are looking forward to welcoming new and old volunteers at two upcoming meetings -- one tomorrow night, for people specifically wanting to help out with the library, and a general volunteer meeting on the 15th. Both of these will be held at our new digs at 290 Division, Suite 405.
"If you can't make the 3/15 meeting but want to pitch in on plans for the Masturbate-a-Thon, please contact Robert at robert@sexandculture.org. "
And NYC-based writer/poet, Thaddeus Rutkowski announces the following:
Prose poem and hanaiku, in Problem Child, Penn State University's alternative literary magazine: http://www.problemchildmagazine.com
My review of Awakened, poems by Madeline Artenberg and Iris N. Schwartz, appears in Book/Mark (P.O. Box 516, Miller Place, NY 11764). cyberpoet@optonline.net
I was a one-time winner of the Poetry vs. Comedy slam at the Bowery Poetry Club last month.
